Product Overview

VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) dry-type transformer with C-class insulation features a maximum allowable temperature of 220°C and a winding temperature rise limit of 150K. Adopting NOMEX® paper as the main insulation material, the coil is manufactured through vacuum pressure impregnation and high-temperature curing processes. It boasts excellent flame retardancy, heat dissipation performance and overload capacity, along with the advantages of safety, reliability, environmental protection and energy saving. This transformer is especially suitable for environments with high fire protection requirements, limited installation space and large load fluctuations.

VPI Transformer C-Class Insulation Process
Insulation

The transformer adopts Class C Dupont insulation materials, which provide a large operating temperature rise margin, strong overload capacity, high fire resistance, good thermal stability and long service life. It is impregnated with UL-certified Class C insulating paint through vacuum pressure impregnation technology, ensuring excellent moisture resistance, dust resistance, anti-contamination performance and low partial discharge.

Core

The core is made of high-quality silicon steel sheets and high-grade oxygen-free copper wires, which effectively reduces operational losses and improves efficiency. The surface of the iron core undergoes special treatment, which can reduce transformer noise and prevent rust and corrosion.

HV & LV Coils

The high-voltage winding adopts a continuous structure, providing high mechanical strength and good heat radiation capability. It is impregnated by advanced international VPI vacuum pressure equipment and undergoes multiple baking and high-temperature curing processes, resulting in strong resistance to short circuits and overloads.

Enclosure

The enclosure complies with AWS certification requirements, and its performance meets NEMA 3R standards. The paint finish of the enclosure is neat, clean and highly corrosion-resistant. Before painting, the metal surface is thoroughly cleaned to remove scale, oil, grease, rust and other foreign substances. NEMA 1, NEMA 3R and NEMA 4 outdoor enclosures are available for selection.
